Numerical Methods for CSE
Exam solutions
Exam solutions are available here.
Exam problems: English version, German version.
Exam
Exam will take place on Tuesday, January 31st,
in ETH main building (HG), in computer rooms HG E 26.1, HG E 26.3, HG E 27.
Due to an extremely large number of students and the lack of computer rooms,
exam will be split into two sessions.
Distribution into rooms by LAST NAMES:
1st session: 9:00 - 12:00
A-D: HG E 26.1
E-J: HG 26.3
K-L: HG E 27
2nd session: 12:00 - 16:00
M-Z: HG F 1
Comment: exam will start at 13:00, but you MUST come to F1 at 12:00.
At 13:00 you'll be guided to the exam rooms.
You should have sufficient time for a quick lunch before 12:00.
Please bring your Legi, some paper to write on and a pen or two.
No notes are allowed; both versions (normal and extended) of the lecture slides will be available in the electronic form on each computer.
Test exam
To familiarize yourself with the computer environment (loading the code-template, saving results), a test-exam will take place on Thursday, January 19th 2012, at 14:00, in HG E 26.1. Everyone is welcome to participate. Since there will be only 32 computers available, students are encouraged to work in groups of 2 or 3.
