Thunderbird chunk and forwarding setting (to avoid corrupted attachments)
Go to the Thunderbird menu and click on Preferences (for windows and linux users: you find this under "Edit" > "Preferences"):
Then click on "Advanced" and on "Config Editor...":
Confirm the warning:
And search for "chunk" and change the value of "mail.server.default.fetch_by_chunks" to "false":
Also change the settings for the forwarding of mails to sending them as attachments:
Afterwards it may be necessary to empty Thunderbird's cache using the Advanced pane of Thunderbird's Preferences:
