Services for Guests

Generally

Guests of the D-MATH and the FIM have access to the following information services of the MathBib and the ETH-Bibliothek:

• Borrowing documents
  
• Read and download e-books and online journals
• Use the electronic resources (e.g. pictures, videos and so on) of the ETH-Bibliothek
  

The services of the MathBib are free of charge for guests of the Department.

Borrowing privileges at the MathBib

Guests with a key to the MathBib and an office inside the main building may borrow documents without restrictions. For more details please check the Benutzungsordnung (PDF 138.6 KB, german) or the chapter loan on this website.

Guests without ETH-Card

Guests who have no ETH-Card may register at NEBIS and receive a NEBIS library card from the library staff when activating the NEBIS account.

Guests with an ETH-Card

Guests who already have an ETH-Card can bring it to the library the first time when activating the NEBIS account.

Short-term guests

Guest who stay only for a few days or weeks can also use the collection of the Mathbib. The conditions are the same as for long-term guests.

Short-time guests without a key, who have a combination lock to their office may use the MathBib during opening hours.
