Procedure

1. Before you start with your thesis, organize an authorized supervisor (if not sure ask the study administration) and discuss with him/her the procedure.
2. Fill in the registration form --> see registration form below.
   
3. Register electronically (myStudies).
4. Hand over your finished paper to your supervisor as well as the signed declaration of originality. (Citation etiquette).
   
5. The supervisor transmit the result to the study administration and the study administration will transmit the result to your MyStudies account.

Master thesis must be completed within the specified time.
You must plan in advanced if you wish to receive your credit points on time to apply
for your Diploma Degree Request.

Registration form

For the following paper you have to fill in a registration form and send it to the
study administration before you start. 

• Mathematics: Bachelor- / Master-Thesis
• Computational Science and Engineering: Bachelor- / Master- / Semester-Thesis
• Statistics: Master-Thesis
• Physics: Master-Thesis
• Neural Systems and Computation: Master-Thesis
  
  

The registration form you will find in the pigeon holes in front of study administration office (HG G 33.1/22). Please follow the procedure which is indicated on the registration form.

If you have already completed a thesis but have not followed the above procedure, we kindly ask you to do so.
